Flipping From Scratch Episode 10: Other tools – Other Content

The flipping tools are endless

While we have talked web cams and document cameras, there are far more ways to flip.  One of the most powerful tools for flipped learning is likely in your pocket or purse – your cell phone. Most of us carry a relatively expensive piece of technology with us every minute we are out of bed and it sits next to us when we sleep.

As flipped teachers we can unlock the power of cellphones and bring our class with us wherever we go. Alternatively we can bring the world we visit into our students classroom or inbox. Beyond the cellphone, resources like podcasts, youtube, television, blogs, etc are all great sources of content for our flipped classroom. All of this content can be incorporated into whatever organizational system we choose to ensure students have the greatest access to learning that we can provide.
