Announcing an Upcoming Series of Webinars from the Flipped Learning Network and WizIQ!

The Flipped Learning Network is delighted to announce that we will be conducting a regular, bi-monthly webinar hosted by our friends at WizIQ, on the first Friday of every other month (at Noon EST), starting in August!

We had a fun session that was sort of a “test run” on June 3 – the recorded session is available here (of course, being new to the platform, we had some things to work out – like needing to switch the ‘feature’ focus to the person speaking, which took a little while to realize was not the case – oh well, live and learn right!).

Our next Webinar will take place Friday, August 3rd at Noon EST. Registration information will follow here and in social media shortly. This first session will focus on “Getting off to Good Start with Flipped Learning” and will be delivered by FLN Board Members and widely recognized flipped learning advocates Kate Baker (@KtBkr4) and Matthew T. Moore (@matthew_t_moore)!

On alternating months, WizIQ will feature a webinar delivered by myself, under the EmergingEdTech brand (in addition to my role as Community Administrator here on the FLN, I have been running EmergingEdTech for nearly a decade now). We’ll explore lots of fun ed tech topics with a variety of guests! My first EmergingEdTech Webinar will take place July 6th at Noon EST (we’ll be sending out details via EmergingEdTech and social media later this week).

We look forward to interacting with you in Q&A during these webinars. More information to follow soon!

And thanks! to our friends at WizIQ for hosting us! For those not familiar, WizIQ is a powerful and flexible online learning platform. Learn more about how WizIQ can facilitate flipped learning here, or head over to EmergingEdTech and search for “WizIQ” to bring up a recent series of how-to posts providing step-by-step instruction on how to use the platform to do things like create self-paced or instructor-led course content, run a live virtual class, create assessments, and more!
