Flipped Educators Spotlight Series Episode 1: Matthew Moore

Welcome to Episode 1 of the Flipped Educator Spotlight Series!

We are delighted to share this, the first episode in what we intend to be an ongoing series.

In the Flipped Educator Spotlight video interviews, we will talk with educators who are practitioners of flipped learning, and explore their experiences, tips, tools, observations, etc. Learn what challenges they had to overcome as they “flipped” their classrooms, and hear about the benefits that they and their students have enjoyed.

Our first spotlight features teacher Matthew Moore. Matthew is a mathematics teacher with seventeen years of experience at the high school level and has also served as an adjunct instructor at the local community college for the since 2004. He has been flipping his classroom for the past three years from the most basic math classes to the most advanced at the high school and college level.

As you will see and hear, we explore questions like, “What advice would you give to others who are just getting started exploring flipped learning?”, “What tools do you use to create flipped content?”, “How has this technique enabled you to spend more time with students, further engage them, help those struggling?”, and much more.
