Digital Classroom Tools: Pear Deck Means Interaction

Interested in turning Google Slides into a two-way communication tool?  Pear Deck may be the tool for you.

I am a High School teacher and was not familar with Pear Deck beyond hearing the name. As part of #FlipTech2020 in July I was able to moderate an event with @MrsBarnett_Tchr and @crazyteachergo presenting on Pear Deck and I was amazed! In the past two weeks I have created this “How-To” video to introduce folks to Pear Deck and have used it as the framework tool for a three hour teacher training session. This tool uses deceptively simple interaction tools to create a powerful communication pathway that allows student to react and respond rather than be recipients of a Google Slide show. Take a look at the “How-to” video for PEar Deck here and understand how “Pear Deck Means Interaction”.
