Just Getting Started With Flipped Learning? Get off to a Good Start (Free Webinar, Friday, August 3rd)!

On Friday, August 3rd, the Flipped Learning Network and WizIQ will present the first of a new series of webinars. Our first webinar will focus on Getting Off to a Good Start with Flipped Learning. This session is entirely free and will take place at Noon EST. The wonderful Kate Baker will be presenting. If you are new to the flip, are just considering it, or maybe you’ve been at it a while but want some fresh ideas, we hope you will come join us.

Guiding you will be Kate Baker, who is a recognized Jacobs Educator by the University of Indiana. Kate is a contributing author of Flipping 2.0: Practical Strategies for Flipping Your Classroom and has over 18 years of teaching experience. She has been recognized as a PBS LearningMedia Local Digital Innovator, American Graduate Champion, and is an Edmodo Certified Trainer and Support Ambassador. 

In this webinar, Kate will walk us through an organized approach to flipping your classroom:

  • Determine Content and Time Line of Unit
  • Determine Workflow
  • Create Video Lessons and Assignments
  • Curate Lessons and Assignments
  • Create a Calendar/Pacing Guide and Identify Future Steps
